Top Dresses This Season!

"Dress shabbily and they remember the dress.  Dress impeccably and they remember the woman" said the icon that is Coco Chanel, and how right she was.  I have scoured a few of my favourite shops to find my 3 favourite dresses of the season so far!

There are a number of styles of dress appearing this season, we really are spolit for choice! All of the dresses are priced beneath £30.


1 - This denim, cutout denim dress with a studded collar is from online store Missguided.  I love this dress because it's so versatile, it wouldn't look out of place worn shopping, or for a meal or at a party.  It can easily be dressed up.
I think to wear out during the day this dress should be teamed with dark tights, and biker jacket to compliment the studs.

2 - Chiffon is one of my favourite fabrics to wear, because it has an excellent drape and thus forth is very flattering.
This Peter Pan collar, peach dress is great to wear out for a meal, opening or formal event, of course, maybe with a denim jacket it could be dressed down but I'd day this a predominantly smart occasion dress.
Worn with light coloured shoes such as brogues, pumps or mocasins this dress would look outstanding,

 3 - Peplum is one of the most flattering dresses for a lot of body types, anyone with a small waist should certainly steer toward this style.  This dress has a lace top but anywhere you look you can find them plain, patterned, floral, an array of colours, and usually VERY reasonably priced.
You can also buy peplum tops and skirts, to wear with jeans or a blouse which I find a lot of in Topshop
I'd wear this with black or red heels, no flats for this look!
