The choice brand of Jay-Z has collaborated with everyone's favourite kicks producers - Converse.  On September 20th you could (for a cool $200) get your hands on these delectable trainers.  

 

You may be wondering, "are they two different pairs of shoes?" and if you are, you would be mistaken.  These converse are painted in trademark Margiela white paint and through every day wear the paint flakes off and unveils the real shoe colour underneath.  You can pick from red, black, navy and yellow as the base colour, and either Chuck Taylors (the shoes pictured) or Jack Purcell's (the shorter shoes).  

Personally, as a lover of both brands, I adore them but I have seen mixed opinion elsewhere. I understand the arguable impracticality of the shoe but let's just remember, if you're going to pay $200 for a pair of high heels, will they always be practical?

so today I'm off to Cardiff to watch the Wales v Australia match! I may not have my rugby-chic down yet but this is what I'm wearing. I've gone with my leather jacket (New Look), cross pattern leggings (Topshop), knitted jumper (also Topshop) and converse! And of course my big knit scarf as its so chilly! Lets hope we win!

Obviously as as the cold weather approaches we need to get the knitwear out, I've created a polyvore set HERE on my favourite knit looks this season.

JUMPERS:

I've included three jumpers, a varsity style one with a '7' on the front, like a football jumper, a grey jumper with an American flag and the final one with a pattern of swans on, which I think is adorable! My favourite is the American flag because the knit is quite thin and close, compared to the thick knits of the other two.  

TROUSERS:

Now with a knitted jumper like this I'd wear simple skinny jeans (warm, safe and stylish) if you were to wear them, say shopping.  For a more casual look I'd go with very neautral leggings, as you want the focus to be on your jumper!  For a slightly smarter look maybe disco pants could edge it up a little. 

SHOES:

Definitely plain and simple with knits, brogues, converse and the studded ballet pump style shoes I've included are great.
