For all of the well read among you, the title of this post will tell you a lot about the content.
The Great Gatsby.

As some of you may know the brilliant novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald has been turned into a film by Baz Luhrmann starring Leo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan and it will next month open the Cannes Film Festival, and I am positively buzzing.  Not even solely from a fashion aspect, although the trailer makes the costumes look unquestionably incredible, as the fashions were in the roaring twenties, but musically also.  Don't get me wrong, I don't have a musical bone in my body, I can neither sing nor play an instrument but when I found out the Executive Producer of the musical score was the one and only Jay Z I let out a small yelp of excitement.  Then as you can imagine I began having heart failure when I discovered her majesty Beyonce had covered Back To Black by the late Amy Winehouse (whom I adore beyond belief).  AND the one and only Lana Del Rey has a new song for the film. I'm not even going to talk about the rest of the soundtrack, so much flawless, such little me.

Well, you have a month, if you haven't yet read The Great Gatsby it is free on iBooks so you have access to an apple device you have literally no excuse.

Hi Guys, I've been nominated for an Award! How exciting is that, if you enjoy my blog it would be amazing if you guys could nominate me too, as I'm under 18 I'm eligible for the Company Magazine 'Best Teen Fashion Blog' so if you've got two minutes click the picture below, tap in my web address, your e-mail and bob's your uncle it's done!

That would be amazing, I'd love to stay and char but I'm off to revise now (really, I am) so au revoir!

HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY! To celebrate - here's my 17 favourite green pieces on line.

Disco pants are cool in any colour, and the ones at Missguided look like really good quality too, super shiny.

Spikes are still very much in fashion and due to all of this cold weather I suspect sweaters will be too for a long while to come.  Perfect with a shirt and skinnies for a day out shopping.

Missguided describe this dress from their exculsive range as 'not for the faint hearted' which it certainly isn't, what it is however, is amazing!
I have a soft spot for satchels and have a feeling a purchase of one is impending, perhaps not in neon green, but Missguided are looking good.
Perfect if you're thinking of purchasing the bag, might as well match your nails while you're there!

I'm in love.  In actual love.

I'm gutted I didn't realise these were petite because they are gorgeous! My sister has high waisted jeans that look awesome on her so I've been pining for a pair.

This might be the cutest ring I've ever seen, to any of my friends, it's 98 days until my birthday.  (hint) (totally not a hint) (H I N T)

I've developed a love for medium heel shoes, and due to my clown feet round toes are perfect, love the glittery heel too.

Since visiting my first Forever 21 in New York a few summers ago I've loved their jewellery  and since they started trading in the UK I've been obsessed!
Is this cheating?  It's not green, but apples are...so y'know.

Every girls needs at least one classic blazer, why not get a green one?

Love this sheer shirt, I imagine it being perfect with black disco pants or wet look leggings.

Another bag, this one maybe slightly easier to wear on a daily basis.  Really good size, looks like you'd fit all the essentials in!

These scallop edge vests are really flattering for most body types and come in a range of colours, super versatile.

Skater skirts have become a staple wardrobe item in the past seasons so this was a must.

I love these socks, I don't think I need to explain.

So, may you be blessed with the luck o' the Irish and have a lovely day!

So last week Kanye West told his audience to congratulate his "baby mama" on "the most amazing thing".  Well.  Aw.  My fave couple in the whole of Hollywood are having a baby.  I think I'm a little too excited.  Anyways, I see this is the perfect opportunity to take a look at Kim K's stylevolution.

Here we've got Kim in the early 2000s in a rather dashing white tracksuit.  Well...things could only get better!

Kim pictured here with ex Ray J had definitely shown signs of improvement by 2006, but she was working as a stylist!  Although not exactly fashionable now I suppose nude pointed boots were all the rage.  Better.

Later in the same year (while she was BFFs with Paris Hilton) Kim wore this really cute grey midi dress which I think was lovely on her!  Looking much more grown up and womanly than Paris.

Then, only a year later Kim transformed into her current fashionable self.  Despite my personal dislike of this fabric this dress is so well suited to Kim! Figure hugging and fitted in the right places.

Aw...elegant Kims in 2008 and 2009 about to appear on the David Letterman Show!

Now in 2012 at the BET Awards Kim is wearing a really simple white bodycon dress and she looks awesome! Now hanging with the likes of Beyonce, I think Kim realised she could dress so simply, but so stylishly!

And last but not least, the wonderful couple!  I certainly can't wait to find out more about the baby and I'm sure they will an adorable family!!

Thank you!

So in my 16 and a half years on this planet I have not once (excluding when I was 3 at my neighbours house) been out on New Years Eve.....until now.

My group of my friends and I went to one of my really good friend Libby's house, a lovely night was had by all and it was a fabulous way to welcome the new year!

I wore a white lace dress from New Look belonging to Sophie teamed with a black leather jacket also from New Look and my Chockers boots (which by the way, are so comfy!!)

Sophie (remember I borrowed the dress, well here's Sophie) wore a lovely velvet skater skirt and a blouse with collar tips and a chain, with hot pink heels.

I hope you all had a great New Year, and I certainly hope that 2013 brings wonderful things for everyone!

Thank you!
